OUR STORY
How it all started...
In 2002, Steve & Cyndi Abbe along with their two daughters, Emily and Erin moved back home after serving together in Maryland for 10 years. It was coming home for Steve because he is a famous Robinson Rocket graduate. “Rockets never quit!” He also attended Baylor University where he and Cyndi originally met. Together they moved to Fort Worth while Steve attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Steve spent over thirty years in ministry building, growing, transitioning, starting and leading churches until his passing in 2021. His LEGACY of chasing Jesus continues at Crossroads Fellowship and through The Creative Learning Center at Crossroads.
Since Steve's passing in January of 2021, Cyndi is leading Crossroads Fellowship and continuing the leagcy. She is available for family support.
CREATIVE LEARNING CENTER AT CROSSROADS
The first time Steve saw 405 Estates Drive, he knew part of the mission that came with this building was a child care facility. In September 2020, that mission became a reality, The Creative Learning Center at Crossroads was born.
OUR MISSION
The mission of Crossroads Fellowship Creative Learning Center is to provide parents of young children in our community the opportunity to place their child in a loving, Christian, developmentally appropriate, curriculum-centered program that strives to promote spiritual, physical, mental and social development.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
We feel committed to excellence in child-care and education within the framework of the Christian Faith. We feel children, parents, and teachers should work closely together toward the development of the total child. Each child should be provided a clean, safe environment that is loving and accepting, academically stimulating, and promotes a positive self-image by means of positive reinforcement. All children should have time to learn, play, laugh, run free and explore their feelings about God and their relationship with Him in an aesthetically beautiful environment full of light, color, and joyful noise! Each child should grow in the love of Jesus Christ and joyfully look forward to becoming all that God has intended him to be.
